CHI SIAMO...
Il “fil rouge” che lega la mia Famiglia e Me alla terra si dipana dalla fine del 1800 quando il mio trisavolo Raffaello diventò mezzadro del podere "Vallone" della Fattoria di San Donato in Perano, Gaiole in Chianti. Negli anni alla conduzione del "Vallone" subentro' suo figlio Gino fino al 1967. Periodo in cui tutta l'agricoltura italiana fu investita dal fenomeno dell'abbandono delle campagne per la cittą...Oggi dopo cento anni inizia di nuovo l'antico amore per la terra, con in testa e nel cuore gli insegnamenti lasciati in eredità dai mie nonni che fin all'altro ieri hann supervisionato e spesso corretto il mio operato, e l'insostituibile aiuto di mio padre Marco. L’azienda attuale nasce nel 2000, con l'obiettivo di coltivare campi e tradizioni, riscoprendo tipicità dimenticate e producendo con metodi biologici.
WHO WE ARE...
The relationship that ties the earth to me is genetic, everything began around the end of the 1800s when my ancestor Rafaello Monnanni became sharecropper of a farm "the Vallone", part of the bigger Farm of St. Donato in Perano, Gaiole in Chianti. Over the years, the management of the "Vallone" was handed down to his son Gino until the end of the 60s. Period in which all the Italian agriculture had been affected by the phenomenon of the abandonment of the country-side. The two following generations that of my grandfather and of my father, closed the relationship with the land, working in other sectors. Today after 100 years the ancient love for this land starts again.
